Sham 69
Gli Sham 69 sono un gruppo punk rock britannico appartenenti al genere Oi!. Storia del gruppo Raggiunsero una certa notorietà verso la fine degli anni settanta. Nacquero alla fine del 1976, ma di lì a un anno della formazione originale rimarrà solo Jimmy Pursey. Ricomposta la line up firmarono un contratto con l'etichetta indipendente di Miles Copeland, la Step Forward. Il singolo di debutto, uscito il 23 settembre del 1977, fu I don't wanna, che fu prodotto da John Cale dei Velvet... —

Sham Pistols
I Sham Pistols sono un progetto punk rock fondato da due componenti dei Sex Pistols, ovvero Steve Jones e Paul Cook e due dei Sham 69, ovvero Jimmy Pursey e Dave Treganna. Il gruppo pubblicò solo alcuni live, tutti risalenti allo stesso concerto al Glasgow Apollo Theatre il 29 giugno del 1979, anche se vennero registrati anche brani in studio: Some Play Dirty e Natural Born Killer (che fu poi ripresa dai The Professionals come Kick Down the Doors).

Sham Pistols Live
Sham Pistols Live è un live album suonato da alcuni membri degli Sham 69 e alcuni dei Sex Pistols in un progetto chiamato Sham Pistols. Il disco venne pubblicato l'8 gennaio 2002 per l'Etichetta discografica Castle Records.
Il concerto venne registrato il 29 Giugno 1979 all'Apollo Theatre di Glasgow, Scozia. Viene erroneamente indicato luglio come mese della registrazione. Alcune delle tracce contenute nell'album, erano già state pubblicate nell'album degli Sham 69 "Sham's Last Stand" del 1989... —

Il primo album degli Sham 69 comprende una prima parte dal vivo seguita da sette tracce registrate in studio. Tra i brani spiccano Rip off, Ulster e Borstal Breakout. La ristampa del 2000 vede due tracce non incluse nella prima versione, What have we got e la versione da studio di Borstal Breakout.

The Lords of the New Church
I The Lords of the New Church furono un super-gruppo New Wave formato da membri dei The Damned (Brian James), Dead Boys (Stiv Bators) e Sham 69 (Dave Tregunna). Il gruppo ha all'attivo tre album da studio, The Lords of the New Church (1982), Is Nothing Sacred? (1983) e The Method to Our Madness (1984). Il gruppo si è sciolto nel corso del 1988, dopo aver pubblicato una cover di Like a Virgin, uno dei classici di Madonna.
